Unlike competing products it has a high strength self-adhesive backing, which gives the product immediate weatherproofing protection. Usable for all types of roofing abutment work, it’s perfect for use on laps as the backing and facing weld together to form an unbreakable bond.
Having been designed for such detailing work, Wakaflex can be used to seal boiler flue penetrations through the roof. Unlike lead, it isn’t susceptible to thermal movement so can be laid in long tray lengths without fixing clips. No special tools are needed and it can be cut by a knife, shears or scissors.
