A special Gala Dinner to conclude the BMF All-Industry Conference raised a truly staggering total for two very deserving charities.

Taking place on the last night of the Conference, the Gala Dinner brought together all the delegates and partners for a night of networking, fun and fundraising.

The Gala Dinner was aiming to raise a record sum for charity, to be split between Variety, the Children's Charity, the official charity of the Crystal Clear Group, and the Teenage Cancer Trust, the BMF's charity of the Year.

As well as donations from guests, a silent auction ran throughout the evening, where attendees could bid against each other for items such as experience days, sports memorabilia, holidays, spa days and mini-breaks. There was also a raffle and a special auction for a Star Prize of a brand new limited edition Fiat Abarth 595 Tourismo, valued at £20,000! This was kindly donated by Crystal.

On hand to help steer proceedings was Conference Host Gethin Jones, and impressionist Jon Culshaw from TV shows such as Spitting Image and Dead Ringers, whose many impersonations of well-known figures kept guests laughing as the money was raised.

The final total donated during the evening topped £66,000, a staggering amount which will be split between the two charities.
