Initial publicity material appeared to offer half-price kitchens, but days later this was changed to emphasise that the offer applied only to the doors and front panels of kitchen units.

A spokeswoman said: "The Half Price Sale in relation to kitchens has always been on doors and drawer fronts only. In our second round of advertising we made this clearer."
