MERSEYSIDE: John Sinfield has moved into the role of managing director, northern Europe, at Knauf Insulation.
The role includes managing the company's operations across the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, as well as having a seat on the Knauf Insulation Group management board.
Mr Sinfield has over 20 years of commercial experience in heavyside building materials in the UK and, prior to his new appointment, for the past four years he was sales director for UK and Ireland at Knauf Insulation.
He replaces Mark Andrews, who will become the chief executive officer of Knauf Insulation North America.
Mr Andrews has been with the company for eight years and has been an instrumental force in steering the business into its market leading position along with instigating and leading the market entry into the Nordic countries.
