SWITZERLAND: Shares in Holcim the world's second-largest cement maker, fell 2.5% and German rival HeidelbergCement lost 1.4% in the DJ STOXX European construction index.

According to analysts, Heidelberg and Holcim shares have performed exceptionally over the past 12 months and could suffer from profit-taking until a more visible recovery in volume allows for further earnings momentum in 2011-2012.
