Which? has named Grant’s boilers as Best Buys in its 2018 oil boiler survey for the second consecutive year.
Grant’s low NO͓ boilers including the Vortex Pro Utility, Vortex Pro Combi and VortexBlue External were commended by the products and services review company.
A new legislation with strict restrictions on NO͓ emissions from domestic boilers will soon be in place across the UK and Europe.
The changes to the European energy-related products directive on NO͓ emissions state that gas and LPG boiler emissions must not exceed 56 mg/kWh.
This applies to new boilers from 26 September 2018, meaning that from this date any boilers placed on the market must meet these new requirements.
Grant says it is ready for the change, and has adapted its boilers to incorporate low NO͓ burners so they are compliant with the new emissions targets.
