LUTTERWORTH: Uponor, supplier of plumbing and heating systems, has issued a financial bulletin indicating that the sales decline through 2009 slowed in the fourth quarter.
The report is in line with the slump in the construction sector, specifically due to the contraction in housing and infrastructure and infrastructure technology.
However, compared to the same period in 2008 some slight growth was seen in certain areas. Expectation is that 2010 will hold steady for the company, with the possibility of improvement, due to internal developments that are poised to take advantage of anticipated trends in the marketplace.
