The Korniche Aluminium Roof Lantern has won an award at the inaugural Conservatory & Orangery Awards.

The Korniche team went home with the Best Rooflight and Lantern System award and a finalist position in the Technical Innovation Category for the Korniche Bi-folding doors composite clip-in bead system, which is due to be launched in 2020.

The winners of the inaugural C&O Awards were announced at a ceremony held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, on 30 October.

The C&O Awards, hosted by BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin, aim to shine a spotlight on the talent found in the conservatory and orangery sector, and celebrate the contribution it makes through innovative products, design, and workmanship, not just to the fenestration industry but the construction industry as a whole.

For the Best Rooflight and Lantern System category, the judges were looking for the best combination of innovative design elements, technical specification, aesthetics and ease of installation.

After the Professional Builder Award for Innovation, received earlier in the year, this new award cements the Korniche Roof Lantern's position on the market - applauded for its simplicity, strength and engineering by those who have installed the product, and now recognised by an impartial panel of industry experts.
