LEICESTER: BSS Industrial has teamed up with Geberit to become the largest national distributor of the Silent-db20 – the lightweight drainage system which features acoustic properties.
This product range can be found nationwide at BSS Industrial branches and outlets of BSS Drainage – the specialist drainage brand of the company was launched in 2009.
Andy Raine, category director for piping systems at BSS Industrial, said: "We established BSS Drainage last year to offer customers the same service and logistical support they know and expect from BSS Industrial, while being able to source products from leading names in the drainage sector.
"The partnership with Geberit is further proof that we have been successful in this and can continue to offer the best products for the job to both our traditional customer base and those specialising in the drainage sector."
BSS Drainage opened its first dedicated showroom facility last autumn in Reading, together with two standalone branches.
The company will continue to roll out a programme of drainage outlets within existing BSS locations through the spring of 2010.
The Geberit Silent-db20 range also features insulated pipe brackets to further reduce sound levels. The system is temperature stable, with welded connections making it leakage-proof.
