UK/SWEDEN: The latest group of Buildbase Timber Champions were taken to Scandinavia to visit SCA Timber's forests, tree nurseries and wood production units.
During the visit to celebrate their achievement and to consolidate knowledge gained on the SCA course, top graduate Martin Watson of Days Buildbase, Portsmouth, was awarded SCA's annual cup for the best Buildbase student. He scored 91% in the course exam.
Nine of this year's Buildbase Timber Champions gained a distinction and five gained credit in the Timber Studies Award from IWSc, The Wood Technology Society.
