WARWICKSHIRE: Ibstock, the UK's largest brick maker, will be hosting its 7th annual Independent Builders' Merchants Forum (IBMF) on 22-23 April.
This event will provide a platform for the UK's leading independent merchants to discuss industry issues, share concerns about the sector and work together to strengthen their position in the market.
John Richards, sales and marketing director, commented: "Independent merchants represent a significant portion of the sector so it is important that they have a forum in which to share best practice and discuss how to shape the future of the industry.
"For six years, the IBMF has provided that platform and it has gone from strength-to-strength. This year, we have record numbers attending – 60 at last count. That is positive news for the industry. The more independent merchants that work together, the more significant the difference we can make to the industry."
