NORTHAMPTON: Travis Perkins has formalised its partnership agreement with South Northants Homes to supply the building materials for improvements and development to its social housing sites.
The SNH and Travis Perkins contract is for four years, with the option to extend for a further two years, and is worth an estimated £500 000 a year.
The partnership started in August 2009 and formalised this month after formal tender procedures. Travis Perkins branches manage over 80 similar projects. South Northants Homes supplies are based at the Travis Perkins Northampton, Harvey Reeves Road, depot with a dedicated trade counter for the 30 South Northantonshire Homes staff.
South Northants Homes tenants benefit from the Travis Perkins Tenant Discount Scheme, entitling them to discounts across a range of products at Travis Perkins Northampton and Brackley branches. The Wickes discount scheme is also available to tenants online when they spend £100 or more.
