LEICESTER: PTS, the plumbing and heating merchant, has announced that the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (CFT) will become its nominated charity following a successful two years with NSPCC and £40 000 banked for the cause.
Kelvin Stevens, PTS managing director, said: "Our staff have achieved wonderful results for the NSPCC over the last couple of years and we really hope our funds can make a difference.
"We are now working to support the CFT as we were shocked by the seriousness and yet relatively unknown nature of this illness. Not many people know the reality that this debilitating condition can have on young lives so we want to lend our support wherever we can."
