LONDON: A range of Bradstone's sustainable hard landscaping products were showcased in a biodiversity garden designed by Paul Hervey-Brookes, outgoing scholar of the Chris Beardshaw Mentoring Scholarship (CBMS), at the Chelsea Flower Show today.
As part of the company's sponsorship of the CBMS, Bradstone, an Aggregate Industries business, has provided technical support and business advice, along with hard landscaping materials for the Bradstone Biodiversity Garden designed by Mr Hervey-Brookes with the support of award-winning garden designe, Chris Beardshaw.
Key features of the RHS Silver Medal-winning garden included Old Town Conservation, featuring up to 85% recycled and reconstituted aggregate, and a bespoke portico with stone bird roosting blocks, designed by Bradstone Structural Solutions.
A trough and log walls, made from Ashlar and Environmasonry blocks, were designed to attract a variety of 'at risk' garden insects and mammals.
Harvest Gold Gravel was also used to complement the richly planted borders of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals.
