LEICESTER: Durapipe UK has been announced the winner of BSS Industrial's 2009 Supplier of the Year Award.
This was the first year of success for Durapipe UK after gaining the most votes from employees at the leading heating and pipeline distributor. Votes were based on a range of criteria with Durapipe UK scoring particularly well in the supply chain, marketing and key account support categories.
Sue Greatorex, BSS Industrial's commercial director, said: "The success of Durapipe UK in the third year of this award is in recognition of the close relationship that has been built between our two companies over the past 40 years. Votes came from across the regions, marketing, supply chain and commercial teams so Durapipe UK has done exceedingly well to make an impact across the whole of BSS Industrial."

The award was presented at BSS Industrial's supplier event held on 30 April 2009. The event also saw Polypipe awarded the title of ‘Most Improved Supplier'.
