EAST YORKSHIRE: Travis Perkins and Falkingham Hardware have teamed with local police to offer residents a discounted home security devices.
Items such as property marking, door and window security, locks, and alarms are available with a 10% discount from the outlets for the rest of August.
Mike Matfin, of Pocklington Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "It is a great idea our two local hardware stores have come on board and are happy to offer a discount for local residents."
Pocklington has suffered an increase in burglaries and police teams are working with residents to help prevent break-ins.
