GLOUCESTERSHIRE: Staff from independent heating solutions manufacturer Adey, pounded the streets for charity this month, as they took part in the 10th annual Cheltenham Triathlon.

A team of six from the Cheltenham-based company took up the challenge and helped raise funds for local causes Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC) and Sandford Lido, Cheltenham's historic outdoor pool.

The team, (shown in the picture) consisting of Dave Mlynski, Miriam Luff, Claire Robinson, Haimish Mead, Bruce Walley and managing director Chris Adey, successfully completed a 500m swim, 15km cycle through the Cotswold hills and 3km run through the streets of the regency town.

Chris Adey said: "The event helps to raise money for two great local causes and I'm delighted we've been able to show our support."

LINC is a healthcare charity that works to improve the care of cancer patients in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and south Worcestershire.
