STAFFORDSHIRE: Trade Decorating Supplies (TDS) has launched its first store, putting expertise behind the counter and a brand-friendly product range onto its shelves.
The first branch of TDS opened its doors in Burton on Trent with a nationwide roll-out strategy planned for the next 12 months. Backed by the distribution network and knowledge of the BSS Group, TDS promises to provide a complete 'one-stop shop' for professional painters and decorators with a product range that includes everything from paint and wall-coverings through to tools and safety equipment.
The new branch is also designed to appeal to DIY enthusiasts and incorporates a separate consumer-focused area called 'The Decorating Store' which offers a wide range of specialist paints, fabrics and wall-papers.
Howard Luft, managing director of TDS, said: "This is an incredibly exciting time to launch TDS. As other paint outlets turn towards pushing mainly own-brand products, we want to offer a wide range of choice for a wide range of applications.
“By adding competitive deals and the expertise of our staff that have all been in the industry for years into the mix, we are able to offer something very special."
The first branch of TDS is based on Dale Street in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. Further branches in Leicester and Derby are now also in the pipeline.
