LANCASHIRE: Crown Paints has named Craig Russell as its general manager.
He will head the company's 110-strong nationwide network of Crown Decorating Centres in England, Scotland and Wales.
Before joining Crown, Mr Russell was operations manager at the Homeform Group, a market-leading specialist retailer of fully-fitted home improvement products. Prior to this, he was operations director at Floors-2-Go, the country's largest independent retailer of flooring products.
While he has specialised in retail operations at a senior level in recent years, Mr Russell has also managed his own successful business. For three years he developed The Bed Shed, Scotland's longest-established and Europe's largest bed retailer.
