LEAMINGTON SPA: Wolseley is reported to be asking up to £150m for its retail business, Bathstore, according to Mark Klein writing in the Financial Times.
The Bathstore disposal is part of chief executive Ian Meakin's strategy to sell some of the businesses acquired during the housing boom. Although the price may be too high for some potential buyers, the business would fit Travis Perkins.
