BRISTOL: Andrew Pocock has joined Ecomerchant to take on the role of UK technical manager (construction).
Mr Pocock has many years of experience working for the manufacturers of timber frame, I-joist and wood-fibre products. In addition to the UK, his work with various companies overseas, notably the US, Finland and Germany, has given him an insight into the development of eco-friendly products in North America and Europe.
Commenting on the challenges ahead, Mr Pocock said: “There is a growing awareness of ecological and healthier building methods and I am looking forward to working with Ecomerchant to promote and develop this sector of the construction industry with the company that is at the forefront of this field.”
