CAMBRIDGE: Seven Ridgeons’ employees have celebrated their 25th year of service with entry into the company’s prestigious ’25 Club’ and a further four existing club members have reached 35 years service.  This brings the total number of service years between all eleven to a staggering 315 years.

Geoffrey Bennett, Darrin Marsh, Michael Shepherd, John Dicken, Kerry Golding, Keith Alderton and Judy Eaglen have all served Ridgeon Group for 25 years and Michael Wheeler, Gary Stroud, Dennis Stanley and Steven Miller have each achieved the 35 year milestone.

Ridgeons’ ’25 Club’ was created to recognise the outstanding commitment and loyalty shown by both full and part-time employees, who have worked for Ridgeons for 25 years or more.  Now in its 52nd year, the new ’25 Club’ members were welcomed by Anne Ridgeon, Chairman of Ridgeon Group, during the club’s annual dinner.

In recognition of their exceptional dedication to Ridgeon Group, each employee was presented with a gift of their choice, ranging from a laptop to a fridge freezer.  Each new club member was also presented with an enamelled lapel badge bearing the distinctive ‘25’ insignia and club tie, along with a special long service certificate.

Anne Ridgeon commented: "It is great to see another seven members of staff reach this milestone.  Their dedication is an important element of Ridgeon’s success and the ’25 Club’ is a perfect way of the Ridgeon family and board of directors to say thank you.  We look forward to welcoming many more to this club over the coming years."
