LONDON: B&Q parent company Kingfisher worked with agency Shebang Design and Marketing to co-ordinate its presence at the MAPIC retail conference in Cannes.

Kingfisher group property director Ian Playford said the event was key for business development.

"This year we appointed Shebang Design and Marketing to manage all aspects from travel and accommodation, to stand design and client hospitality," he said.

"By handing this over to experienced event managers, we were able to have confidence in the arrangements and presentation of our brand allowing our directors to fully focus on networking and business generation."

As well as creating a stand for Kingfisher at the show earlier this month November, Shebang sourced accommodation, organised a team meeting and two evening events.
