WIGAN: IKO PLC’s merchant division, Ruberoid Building Products, continues to invest and has appointed two new employees.
Colin McTavish joins as business manager for builders’ merchants within the Scotland and North East of England areas. Mr McTavish has a wide range of experience within the industry including assistant for MSP Scotland/Polyglass, progressing to business manager. He then worked for John Cameron (Plumbers & Builders Merchants) Ltd before recently joining IKO.
Mr McTavish comments, “I am delighted to be joining such an established company as IKO, and look forward to building relationships with current and new customers, while promoting both the company and it’s range of market leading products across Scotland and the North East of England”.
Adrian Downes joins IKO as business manager for builders’ merchants located in North London, Oxfordshire and East Anglia. Mr Downes has over 20 years experience within the merchant sector working for Dunlop Adhesives, Laybond and more recently Bostik.
Mr Downes said ’’I’m very pleased to be joining IKO, a well respected and progressive company, and I am looking forward to developing the business relationship between IKO and its existing and potential customers’’.
