COVENTRY: Jewson's new online stair planner service lets users request a quotation for a bespoke staircase either by uploading an existing drawing or by entering the specifications and layout onto the website.

To receive a quote, users need to log on to www.jewson.co.uk/staircases. Once all the details have been completed or an existing design uploaded, users can select from a wide variety of timbers and a diverse range of handrails, newel posts, spindles and contemporary oak stair parts to suit any design requirement.

After a request has been submitted details will automatically be sent to the user's nearest Jewson branch to ensure staff are aware of the enquiry. Users will then promptly receive a quote from Jewson for a Jeld-wen staircase.

Gareth Drew, online marketing manager at Jewson commented: "The introduction of our 'request a quotation' feature will ensure that professional tradesmen, property developers or those undertaking a self build project can gain access to a quote as soon as possible. The quotes are handled by a local branch who will assist the customer with project advice and friendly customer service."

Alternatively, visitors to the website who do not require a made-to-measure staircase can select from a range of closed riser stock flights, which are ready for immediate delivery.

"All staircases supplied by Jewson are Chain of Custody approved," Mr Drew added.
