SUNDERLAND: Oaklands Environmental, suppliers of rainwater and wastewater treatment and management systems, is emphasising its products' total recyclability with a number of launches planned for 2011.

There are several new products in development, said UK sales manager, John Goodwin, and 2011 will see the launch of many of these.

"We will be adding further models to our existing ranges and are committed to the continuous development of our product performance. "Design is carried out both in-house and externally utilising experienced designers and engineers. Where relevant we support our designs performance with fully accredited independent testing of products to comply with specific European or British Standards.

"All raw materials we use to manufacture are of the highest quality virgin polymer totally recyclable, and specifically developed and tested for us for use in the most aggressive ground conditions and difficult applications within our environment."

The company works closely with its merchant customers. "We encourage our merchant customers to give us feedback on products and services and to have input into the development of products to meet their specific needs thereby enhancing the development of both parties," said Mr Goodwin.

The company recently restructured and rebranded following the acquisition of Black Hat Systems by the Oaklands Group, an organisation established in 1990 with facilities in Coleshill, Birmingham and Sunderland. Its environmental products feature HDPE systems, including the Aquarius and Aquapod rain harvesting tanks, Stormpod attenuation tanks, Modulus Sewage treatment plants and Geoceptor oil separators.
