BIRMINGHAM: Interest in the February Totally trade shows at the NEC has showed no signs of letting up, with exhibitor space continuing to sell quickly.

Sales director Paul Grinsell is confident that the shows will be a sell-out. "We're on target to be a third bigger in 2011 – which is great news for exhibitors and visitors alike – as it means more to see and more people seeing it.

"It is also a strong signal that the market is in better shape and feeling more confident," Mr Grinsell declared.

The most recent exhibitor signings to the shows include Rustins, Haxnicks, Sterling Locks, Cannon Tools, The Stadium Group, Rhino Professional, Tembe DIY, Connect Distribution Services, KWB Tools and Samuel Lewis, all of which have exhibited in previous years.

Companies new to the show include self-adhesive tape manufacturer, Le Mark; formulator and manufacturer of rodenticides and insecticides Lodi UK; UK distributors of Bison Adhesives, Cyanotec; Plews Edelmann, suppliers of quality lubricants and tyre hardware and repair tools, door hardware and security fittings products supplier Frisco, and Dust Elimin8 with its system for keeping dust down while cutting stone, brick or concrete.

The shows are also well supported by the industry's leading wholesalers – Home Hardware South West, Mica DIY, Stax Trade Centres and Toolbank and trade associations BHETA, BHF and GIMA.

Totally DIY: Totally Tools: Totally Secure take place at the NEC on 6-8 February 2011 and run alongside Spring Fair International. This will be the multi-trade shows' second outing at the NEC.
