DERBYSHIRE: Donaldson Timber Engineering’s new management structure for its Ilkeston branch will see Oli James as its new general manager (roofs) and the promotion of Luke Roberts to general manager (floors), as of this month.
Mr James has worked in the industry for 20 years. He joins DTE from SIG (Roofing &
Roofline Division), where he was field sales manager. Before that, he spent nine years working as a branch manager for Palgrave Brown.
A highly regarded member of the DTE workforce, Mr Roberts has worked at DTE for three years as I-joist manager. He was recently promoted to DTE floors manager.
DTE managing director Mr Jonathan Fellingham said: "Ilkeston is our largest branch and we felt it would benefit from having two branch managers to focus on specific parts of the business.
“Oli has been brought in to manage the roofing side of our Ilkeston branch, with Luke working alongside him managing the flooring side.
"We are confident that Oli and Luke will work well together, and that their combined experience and skills will be of real benefit to the branch and to the business as a whole.”
