CHORLEY: International Timber and sister company Pasquill have joined forces to develop a trailer which showcases their ranges of products and will be used to educate specifiers, contractors and merchants throughout the UK.

The 40ft foot long vehicle will be hitting the roads around the UK offering customers the chance to learn more about different species of wood and engineered timber solutions.

The mobile showroom will also be used for internal training purposes, offering both new and existing employees the opportunity to view the product range and gain a more in-depth product and specification knowledge.

International Timber will be displaying a wide range of product samples including decking and cladding, hardwoods, softwoods, engineered joinery components and solid wood flooring.

Pasquill will showcase the Smartroof and X-rafter new build room-in-the-roof solutions along with Posi-Joists, I-joists, Glulam and floor cassette samples, roof and attic trusses and spandrel panels.

Tony Miles, managing director of International Timber, comments: “We offer an unrivalled depth and breadth of timber products for the merchant, construction, joinery and manufacturing sectors. The trailer has been created to showcase the extensive range of products on offer, while educating customers about the types of timber that are available, their properties and the applications to which they’re best suited.”

Pasquill managing director, Stuart McKill adds: “Engineered timber is an excellent choice for sustainable construction projects. Enhancing our technical offer the trailer enables us to take our products to our customers so they can see for themselves the benefits of engineered timber. This will help when recommending or specifying, by providing an increased knowledge about our products.”
