LONDON: Leno, Finnforest's cross-laminated timber, was the star of the company's stand at this year's Ecobuild.

Finnforest's imaginative two-tier stand at the show featured a full range of its systems.
The large curved cross-laminated Leno timber panel wall demonstrated the company's a commercially proven route to achieving low-energy walls.
The stand's upper storey was made using Kerto Ripa, Finnforest's wide-span solution. This was accessed from a Kerto staircase and WalkSure flooring system.
Beneath the upper level visitors were able to view the workings of Finnjoists when combined with a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery system.
The entire stand was encased in Finnforest Thermowood cladding.
Marketing manager Marcus Sanders explained that the company, through its engineered timber products and systems – Kerto, Finnjoist (FJI), Ripa, SoundBar System, Glulam, Thermowood and its cross-laminated timber panel, Leno was now developing entire system solutions, along with with supporting software to help specifiers design buildings that exceeded legislative requirements, achieved higher Code and BREEAM ratings and fulfilled the aesthetic aspirations of end-users.
