LEICESTER: NMBS understands the need to think green and with this in mind is taking part in Climate Week 2011, by entering the challenge which will be set on 21 March.

To give an overview Climate Week runs from 21 – 27 March 2011 and is a chance for companies, schools and people up and down the country to get involved and help combat climate change. Climate week will highlight what is currently being done and will also provide a forum to share ideas and to help encourage thousands more to act during the remainder of the year.

The Challenge will be revealed at 9am on 21 March on the Climate Week website and NMBS will have a team of staff members standing by ready to tackle the challenge on the day.

The Challenge is a high energy, time-pressured training and educational experience that aims to develop the skills of teamwork, innovation, creativity, planning, presenting and delivering results to a deadline. It also builds environmental knowledge and the motivation to act on climate change.

NMBS encourages all of our members and suppliers to get participate within Climate Week, which can be from entering the day Challenge on 21 March to entering the Mini Challenge, which takes one hour, and can be completed at anytime during Climate Week.
