HALESOWEN: Three employees of a roofing supplies company that closed its Halesowen branch have re-opened the business under a new banner.
Dave Horton, Chris Tandy and Adam Cooper are operating the Mucklow Hill business as Chandlers Roofing Supplies, a subsidiary of Sussex-based builders merchant Chandlers Building Supplies.
The trio were familiar faces to roofing contractors in the Halesowen area until Wedge Roofing Centre closed. Horton, the branch manager, said: "It is great to be back at our old site in Halesowen. At a difficult time for the construction industry, Chandlers has put its faith in us to restore a great business in Halesowen. "I have been delighted by the response we have had from so many of our old customers and look forward to welcoming back many more."
