UK: Six City Plumbing Supplies (CPS) branches are celebrating their win after coming out on top in an in-store competition run by cylinder specialists, Gledhill Building Products.
Teams at CPS branches across the country competed against others in their region to see who could generate the largest sales increase of the EnviroFoam Stainless Vented cylinders, incentivised by the opportunity to win the equivalent of a cylinder full of beer.
John Toms, manager of winning CPS branch in Barnstaple, Devon, said: “A bit of competition is always good fun and we enjoyed getting involved in Gledhill’s latest promotion. The company offers a great service to merchants - Dawn, from the local Gledhill depot at Paignton, is always on hand to answer any customers’ queries that I’m not able to, making life a lot easier and so we were more than happy to take part.”
He added: “Seeing our efforts pay off has been a very good boost for the team and I’m sure we’ll each enjoy our share of the prize!”
