LEAMINGTON SPA: Roger Hoskins has been appointed regional sales manager (Building Services) for Pipe Center and Climate Center.
The promotion and expanded role reflects Roger’s success in developing sales and providing outstanding technical customer support in his previous role for the company in the heating sector.
Responsible for the Southwest and Midland regions, Mr Hoskins will cover chilled and heating products, steel, copper and plastic piping systems, air conditioning and refrigeration.
A particular focus will be on renewable technologies, which have been key features of recent successful major projects.
He will be working on a wide range of public sector and commercial projects, including hospitals, schools, care homes, residential apartments and public buildings.
Mr Hoskins says: “There are huge opportunities opening up in the market to provide contractors with a more rounded service that caters for all of the technologies across the building services sector.
“People simply no longer have time to deal with several suppliers for each product area. We can support customers across the piece, heating, cooling, air conditioning and refrigeration, while delivering outstanding value due to our position in the market. It cuts down time and reduces the bottom line for the client.”
Mr Hoskins will be based at the company’s Bristol and West Bromwich branches, and report to Kevin Hartshorne, Regional Trading Director, Central-West region.
Mr Hoskins has been with Wolseley for 21 years, starting as a branch trainee after leaving school.
