LONDON: MRA Marketing has picked up two awards at this year's Construction Marketing Awards.

The agency won Best Use of Advertising for its Acheson & Glover 'ask Stuart' campaign; Best Use of Website for Door-Stop International and was highly commended as a finalist in Best Use of PR for Swisspacer).

The judges praised MRA's "careful and strategic approach" the benefits of which "will continue to be felt for a number of years".

MRA, which specialises in strategic marketing in the construction and home-improvement sectors, said it was "thrilled that all our hard work on three very different accounts has been recognised in this way".

Managing director Mike Rigby stated: "The CMAs are awarded by a panel of genuine experts – people who really understand both marketing and construction. We've received awards in all the most important categories: PR, advertising and online. It's a great result and we are delighted both for MRA and for our clients."

The awards are run by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) to celebrate the best and most innovative marketing campaigns in the construction industry year.

This year saw a huge rise in entries for the digital and online categories.
