TUNBRIDGE WELLS: On 17 March this year, Martin Moran of MP Moran & Sons ran a 12km cross country course which took him over the hills and through the rivers of Tunbridge Wells.
Taking just under 90 minutes to complete, the run raised a colossal sum for his chosen charity, Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The £10,000 donation was made possible due to generous sponsorship by Mr Moran's friends, his company and its suppliers. A spokesman for Mr Moran said that he and his family are very proud to be able to give this cheque to such a great and deserving charity.
