NORTHAMPTON: PTS is celebrating after taking home the ‘Thinking, Managing, Delivering’ award at the 2012 MITIE Supplier Forum. The top title recognises PTS’ willingness to go the extra mile to ensure quality and build a long lasting relationship with its customers.

PTS has put a number of initiatives in place to ensure it provides the best possible service to MITIE. Its decision to assign Sean Cunningham as a dedicated account manager four years ago was particularly well received by Mitie and was rated highly in its award entry.

This unique strategy has meant that solutions are found quickly when needed, benefitting both PTS and MITIE. Daily discussions around individual projects allow accurate proposals to be developed, giving MITIE a distinct edge over its competitors.

“PTS has always believed that a high standard of quality service is achieved by more than just an extensive product portfolio – it is about building relationships,” says Ian Church, managing director of PTS.

“This prestigious award from MITIE reflects that our customers agree with our approach. PTS has a dedicated key accounts team who work to build these relationships and Sean has worked incredibly hard as the dedicated account manager to effectively become part of the MITIE team; implementing unique solutions to develop an innovative customer partnership. We want to say thank you again to MITIE; we look forward to continually learning and growing together as leaders in our respective fields.”

MITIE Group has over 200 branches throughout the UK and Ireland and provides infrastructure consultancy, facilities management, property maintenance and a range of energy management services to its customers.
