NORTHAMPTON: Chris Ricketts has moved into the role of category director for piping systems at BSS Industrial.
With 14 years of experience from within the business, Mr Ricketts’ move comes after a number of recent senior promotions across the company’s commercial function. During his 14 years with BSS Industrial, he has worked in a number of roles, including technical support engineer and most recently product group manager.
In his new role, Mr Ricketts will drive forward innovation and new product development for the piping systems division while supporting the regional managers with their commercial and supplier development strategies.
The appointment follows a senior management restructure within the Travis Perkins Group, during which Sue Greatorex was promoted to divisional buying director for the Travis Perkins Plumbing and Heating Division and Andy Raine was promoted to commercial director of BSS Industrial.
Mr Ricketts commented: “My new role brings greater responsibility and I am looking forward to using my well-established skills set and dedication to the company to shape the future success of BSS Industrial.”
