UK: The re-organisation of SCA Timber’s operations following the acquisition of French merchant supply company PLF has created an opportunity for SCA Timber Supply UK to take an integrated view of its own increasing business, through promotions and a new appointment.
Neil Emsley becomes group operations director for SCA Timber Supply UK’s three sites at Stoke, Welshpool and Hull.
Managing director of SCA Timber Supply, Rob Simpson, commented: ”To support the growing success of our British merchant supply business, Neil’s expertise in operational planning, along with his Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, will help us develop our holistic approach to customer service across our three UK sites.”
Alan Mills takes up a new role as finance director for all three SCA Timber Supply merchant supply chain businesses in Europe: in the UK; France and Scandinavia, and Maria Nicholls will join SCA Timber Supply UK in Stoke from Monday 28 May, as financial controller.
