CAMBRIDGE: Ridgeons recently recognised the long-service achievements of 58 employees at its annual Long Service Awards reception, held at the Group’s Pampisford branch, Cambridge.

The employees, who have accumulated 660 years’ combined service between them, came together from 15 of the Group’s 22 branches, to join Ridgeons’ directors and family members for a celebratory lunch.

In total, five employees were recognised for 20 years of service, eight employees for 15 years of service and 44 employees for 10 years of service.  Ridgeons’ director, Amanda Ridgeon, presented the employees with a framed, signed, certificate acknowledging their achievement.  Each frame was handmade at the Group’s timber processing plant in Herringswell.

Director Gordon Ridgeon, who hosted the event, commented: “The awards are now in their 15th year and are our way of thanking employees for their long service and continued commitment. The Ridgeons business is built on relationships – relationships with customers, our communities and with one another, which is why it is important that we celebrate these achievements.”
