UK: BSS Industrial has appointed Andrew Firth to the role of brand sales director. Each ‘specialist brand’ provides a single source solution for specific technical product ranges such as pumps, plastics and controls, providing support to sectors such as utilities, food and beverage and pharmaceuticals.
Mr Firth's responsibilities include product development, maintaining and improving the supply chain and overall development of brands; AMS Pumps, Pegler and Louden, Manor Plastics and Austin Stroud. With almost three decades of industry experience, Mr Firth has been with BSS Industrial for 15 years.
Mr Firth said: “Having worked at BSS Industrial for over a decade, I feel that I am in a strong position to drive sales whilst ensuring the reputation of the brands for high quality products and exceptional service is upheld. One of my main objectives is to continue communicating the expertise that exists within the specialist brands to BSS customers new and old. Not only is product knowledge vital but additional support on legislation in markets such as the power sector really sets us apart from the competition.”
