SUFFOLK: The Bury branch of Screwfix is the latest to open an upgraded trade counter. It is one of 45 new counters that have opened in existing stores.
A ‘Click & Collect’ service has also been launched. It enables traders to purchase online and collect goods at the counter, five minutes later.
Plumbers and electricians also get next-day delivery to their home, site or store, for orders made before 7pm.
Branch manager Nicola Mason said: "Our Plumbfix and Electricfix offering has been going from strength-to-strength and we are delighted to be introducing both brands to Bury.
"Local plumbers and electricians will have much greater access to all the trade essentials they need which, aside from being welcomed by homeowners who rely on the region's professionals, means they won't have to travel far to reach their nearest trade-only counter.”
