GLOUCESTERSHIRE: Stroud-based Dougfield Plumbers' Supplies has opened its 12th branch after acquiring Don Tee Supplies of Cheltenham.
Tim Stickland, commercial director of Dougfield, said: "We identified a gap in our Gloucestershire offering and this led to us taking over the existing branch in Cheltenham, which allows us to bring our proposition to even more people."
Graham Reed, relationship manager at Lloyds TSB Commercial, who helped secure the finance, added: "Dougfield has built a strong reputation over the years for quality and reliability and it is pleasing to see that this has been maintained during the company's expansion.
"The latest branch in Cheltenham already had a strong trading track record and this has been maintained and enhanced even further since the branch joined the Dougfield Plumbers Supplies group."
The business was founded in 1993 by Doug Field, who owns the company.
