DERBYSHIRE: There is still time to enrol into this year's Institute of Builders' Merchants Practical Building Skills Challenge.
The event, held on 24 October at Derby College, promotes team-building and hands-on work with building materials.
"Who is prepared to challenge the winning teams from Ridgeons and MKM?" asked Gill Sellick of the IoBM, who is organising the event.
"We still have some team spaces left on our practical Building Skills Challenge Event. It is learning by experience. By working with the products merchant sell every day and is an excellent team-building exercise. Prizes will be awarded for the best build and all thiose attending the event will be awarded a free year's membership of the Institute of Builders Merchants."
