UK: The Howarth Timber Group has continued its support of charity ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ by raising over £7500 after 42 of its hardy employees tackled the heights of Mount Snowdon recently.
Previous fundraising events have included a charity trek of the Great Wall of China in 2010 and scaling Mount Fansipan in Northern Vietnam in 2011, which raised an incredible £25,000 for the charity.
When You Wish Upon A Star’ is a charity that grants the wishes of children aged two to 16 with life threatening illnesses.
Over £7500 was raised for the charity through this latest undertaking, and the Howarth Timber Group would like to say a massive well done to everyone who took part in the challenge and a huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported us.
