IKO has promoted Paul Owen to the role of sales director and Iain Macpherson to commercial manager within the company's newly-structured Distribution Division.
Mr Owen will head the division, which encompasses builders' merchants, retailers and roofing distributors. He has worked within the flat roofing sector for over 12 years, joining Marley Waterproofing in 2000 in a specification sales role, then moving into sales management and national account roles.
Following IKO's acquisition of the business in 2006, Mr Owen continued in a national account role before taking up this new position.
Mr Macpherson has worked at IKO for six years and has over 20 worth years of experience in the construction industry. He has also worked for a large roofing contractor and a number of leading manufacturers within roofing and speciality chemicals, as well as running his own contracting business.
