EVESHAM: Plumbworld has launched of a website selling power tools online. The site, at www.toolbox.co.uk, will rely on service and low pricing to sell products.
Scott Morris, E-commerce manager at Plumbworld said: "Since the Plumbworld business was acquired by the Grafton Group in 2006, we now have access to a wide range of building related products at market-beating prices."
"We have a market share in UK online bathroom retail of over 20%: a lot of which is down to our expertise in online marketing, highly automated internal systems and efficient logistics," he said.
The UK market for power tools is worth around £285m a year with an increasing proportion of sales made online.
Plumbworld started online trading of building products in 1999 and now with 50 staff has an £18m turnover.
