Jewson has partnered with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to support cricket clubs taking part in the award-winning NatWest CricketForce initiative.
Clubs that open a Jewson Privilege Account and make an initial payment of £100 will have another £400 automatically added to their account by ECB which they can use to buy building and decorating products.
NatWest CricketForce is an ECB volunteering initiative aimed at rejuvenating cricket facilities throughoutEngland and Wales. Over the initiative’s eleven year history, participating clubs have seen a significant increase in volunteers contributing to their club.
ECB managing director of Cricket Partnerships Mike Gatting said: “NatWest CricketForce is hugely successful in engaging community-wide support, enabling cricket fans, businesses and the wider public, to actively help their local cricket clubs.
“Build Center, now Jewson, was one of the first companies to become an official supporter of NatWest CricketForce and this new initiative is a fantastic example of how businesses can help clubs regenerate their facilities and support ECB’s wider investment in the grass-roots game.”

The Privilege Account Scheme was first launched in 2012, in partnership with Build Center and Jewson, with 800 cricket clubs successfully applying. These clubs are ineligible this year but will receive preferential rates in 2013 through the use of the Jewson Partner Card.
