New Parts Center website goes live

Parts Center – one of the UK’s largest specialist suppliers of heating replacement parts – has launched its new website www.partscenter.co.uk, which gives installers access to a huge range of new services and special offers.
Users can register online, access up-to-the-minute stock information and images for more than 50,000 stocked products (another 30,000 are available for order), check their prices and reserve them for collection from their preferred branch.
The website can also be accessed from mobile phones or tablet computers so customers can do all of this, and find directions to their nearest Parts Center, all from the palm of their hand.
A highlight of the site is its unique “models this fits” feature, enabling users to identify parts with confidence. It also allows customers to sign up, log in and then check their terms, see outstanding invoices and credit, and view their order history.
Parts’ director Colin McGregor said: “The new site is the result of two years’ extensive collaboration and testing across the business with our customers, web team and branch staff.”
The mobile site is already attracting good reviews from customers. Paul Ayres owns plumbing and heating business PJA Group, and has said: “I’m a big fan – it’s definitely a benefit to my business. We can get specs up when we’re on the job, check the prices there and then and confirm it with the client, all by just getting our phones out.
“The branch locator is also a great feature. We’re often doing jobs in places we’re not familiar with, so being able to find the nearest Parts Center so easily is a real help.”
More and more installers are using their mobile devices to place orders and look up prices for quotes, especially when they’re on-site, and Parts Center’s new initiative makes it as easy as possible.
Mr McGregor said: “Many of our customers are now using their Smartphones and tablets to run their businesses. A lot of time has gone into making our website as user-friendly as possible, to support installers in the field and enable access to our range of products and services wherever and whenever our customers need them.”
