Manchester-based TENMAT has won the Queen's Award for the second year running.

In 2012, TENMAT scooped the Innovation award for a range of fire protection products including the Ventilated Fire Barriers product range for external rain-screen and wall cavities, and a range for ventilation ducting.

This year, TENMAT has won the International Trade award. Rupert Coggon, business manager of the fire protection department, said: “The winning of this highly prestigious award for both Innovation and International Trade in consecutive years demonstrates the wide range of skills, expertise and commitment within the TENMAT team and everyone is very proud of this achievement.”

TENMAT looks to the future with enthusiasm. Strengthening existing partnerships and gaining export customers from new global economies will be one of the company's clear strategies.
